September the 10th brings a new competition for you, which will last for 8 weeks, until the 10th of November.
What is Teaching Moments?
We are thus inviting our Romanian English teachers to be a part of our Teaching Moments competition by submitting photos depicting authentic classroom or outdoor activities when teaching English.
The pictures can also show classroom projects inspired by National Geographic textbooks and each participant has to submit five photos in order to enter the competition.
Very important! All the educators taking part in our competition will automatically be offered a Certificate of Participation, which they can print and show off to the students!
Therefore, you will immediately become a Superhero Teacher certificate holder by just submitting photos, to show us how important it is for you to be inspired and inspirational.

How can you take part in our competition?
Between the 10th of September and the 10th of November, teachers will have to fill in an online form and send the photographs by email to the competition email address as attachment. If you are familiar with the website, using wetransfer.com to submit the photos is recommendable, to preserve the picture quality/size.

Where do you submit your photographs?
Firstly, to join our competition, please fill in the form, available here.
As for the photographs, they can be submitted either via email or by using wetransfer.com.

Before submitting your photos, please save them by using your name, as in the example below: POPESCU_IOANA_PHOTO1, POPESCU_IOANA_PHOTO2, POPESCU_IOANA_PHOTO3, POPESCU_IOANA_PHOTO4, POPESCU_IOANA_PHOTO5.
IMPORTANT! The photographs can be attached to your email, but if the files are too large, we advise you to send them via wetransfer.com

What selection criteria do we have in place?
First and foremost, the pictures need to be inspired by National Geographic books and subjects, this is the first criteria you should have in mind.
Our Fischer International team together with the National Geographic Learning representative in Romania will choose the finalists and the 20 winners will be chosen via random.org.
Thirdly we also need to receive good quality pictures, so we recommend taking more photos and then submitting the best five. While it is important for you to focus on the content, the technical aspects of the image such as resolution, light and so on, should not be neglected either, as the pictures should be aesthetically pleasing.

What prizes have we got for you?
Based on the criteria above, we will select the 20 finalists, who will receive the following prizes:
- a magnetic postcard to include the 5 pictures enlisted in the competition
- online resources for at least one title
- a Fischer personalized diary, to keep you inspired throughout the year, and a National Geographic Learning bag.
VERY IMPORTANT!
All the participants will automatically become a Superhero Teacher and a participation certificate holder just by just submitting the five photos, to show us how important it is for you to be inspired and inspirational every day.
